I searched but cannot find the answer to this question. Does El Zafiro charge for beach chairs if you eat lunch there?

No! And breakfast will also get you free beach chairs.

Thanks Pat. I thought you or someone else shared that but couldn't find. Will get to St. Masrten in 12 days and would like to spend a beach day (or two) there. For the record, we stayed at El Zafiro a few years ago and enjoyed it.

Last time we went there as long as you are eating and drinking no charge for the chairs. FYI two other beach bars just down the beach Karater and Mary’s Boon Hotel and beach bar restaurant. I’d try those also and pick your favorite. Lots of good options you don’t want to miss.

If you have drinks and eat there ; the chairs are free. They take very good care of their patrons.

El Zafiro is great but beware they do have groups there from the cruise ships. Depending on the number of people it can get quite busy & sometimes loud music.
