My wife and I just spent 4 days in San Antonio as a little getaway. We stayed at La Mansion on the Riverwalk and it was a great little vacation. Restaurants, cafes, and crafts all along the walk and it is beautiful. A short walk to the Alamo and for breakfast, after spending quite a bit at our hotel the first day, we found a little steakhouse/cafeteria across from the Alamo where we stuffed ourselves for breakfast for just $13 If you are looking for a nice getaway, San Antonio is great and La Mansion is a fabulous hotel that really caters to the customer. I was told by a policeman that Jennifer Lopez and Cher always stay there when in town... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />
