Has anybody stayed at the 7nits at the Blue Mall by Cupecoy? We are thinking of renting a unit there. Any pros and cons? We know the area very well and drove by the mall every day but never met anybody who actually stayed there. Any info is appreciated!

I have no personal firsthand information on staying there but truthfully, I would feel too very isolated being one of so very few rented places. It would feel too creepy for me.

I live just behind the Blue Mall. In season, I believe the units are all rented and the building has security. I would not walk around the area after dark, but there is parking right in front, as well as beneath the building. It is very close to Porto Cupecoy, with a grocery store, ATM, and several nice restaurants, and across the street from the beaches at Cupecoy. The units I've seen are spacious and lovely. Hope this helps.

We have not stayed there but would and have considered it. Nice location and certainly a change of pace from the Maho to Cole Bay area.
I prefer the Isle seat

That’s not an issue with us since we are renting a few units there, there is a group of us coming to the island next year. Thank you for your input Pat.

And we will have an underground parking stalls.

I can’t imagine anybody owning a valuable condo in that building and not doing a little better job keeping the exterior looking a little better. It’s a mess outside and could easily be picked up and made nicer. Right now it’s a multi million dollar nightmare. IMO. Thank you! Yeah I agree- the whole Mall idea looks like somebody’s financial nightmare!

Or…. It served exactly the purpose it was rumored to have originally been developed for. Clean money, anyone? Just sayin……😉😉

How about The Sapphire property too. It’s a jungle mess in front with weeds, trees and bushes that haven’t been trimmed in years it looks like. A big property like that it’s just ridiculous the owner does have eye balls or care enough to do just basic maintenance. I can imagine how looks inside. Again huge investment not be taken care of. Why would anyone want to stay in that mess.
