That's the same flight we're on next month. We were on the same flight in 2020 going home just a week before the island locked down. While we were in the terminal waiting for the flight to arrive, we watched the Customs dog go in the forward cargo hold and come out the aft door once it arrived. The question I have is how did the bags get on the plane in Toronto?

Wow.. I just read the article. I was on that WestJet flight on May 15th 😲
They were screening bags separately after immigration.
I have to admit I never saw anything or noticed anything unusual happening.
I guess I would be useless as an airport security person 😂

...The question I have is how did the bags get on the plane in Toronto? Agreed, that is the truly shocking part about the story; checked baggage from Pearson got on the plane then actually arrived at the destination
