Just received a weather notification that my area will be experiencing a wind chill of -40 to -45 C overnight Friday and into Saturday, Celsius and Fahrenheit meet at -40, we arrive on the island on Saturday therefore we will be experiencing a temperature change of approx 125 degrees F, getting outta Dodge just in time

Wind chill only has an affect with direct contact to exposed skin. Actual air temp affects everything.
