As of now, forecast is south of SXM and not predicted to develop into a hurricane. Both good things.

I just arrived in Rodney Bay, St. Lucia to get some fuel and see if there's a part to repair my sail. The most recent NOAA storm forecast shows the centerline of Bret coming through EXACTLY here in 2 days. Needless to say, I don't plan on being here then... But Bret will be a hurricane offshore, just devolve to a storm (but a big one) shortly before landfall here. All this is good news for SXM and the BVI!

Tropical Storm Bret will pass far south of SXM but there is a second invest 93L behind Bret that we should monitor.

Currently predicted to pass far south of SXM, not predicted to reach hurricane status, and to dissipate in a few days. Hopefully the one behind it will be similar.
