Hello-I posted this on TA also-sorry if you are seeing both!

Looking at villas in Tortola and have found several I like but when I read reviews people complain that there is just not much sun on the pool area. I looked at the maps for villas facing more west and there don't appear to be many. Not many get sunsets either obviously since those would also be getting full afternoon sun. Do you have a perfect sun-drenched-pool-area favorite villa you want to share?

Thanks!

Overlooking Soper's Hole, and has amazing views, and sunsets! It also has a very nice sunny pool and deck.

We rented Mermaid Villa, the one with the pool, last year. Wonderful owner and good pool with good sun, however it is on Beef Island.

We stayed at Blackbeard's Hideaway, a two bedroom villa which is part of Steele Point Estates. South facing, the pool got great sun all day. It's also a gated entrance, close to Smugglers, west End ferry terminal and Sopers.

If it doesn't have to be Tortola try Adagio Villa - we are west facing and have a heated pool for winter temps - cheers Brian

Thank you all for your suggestions. I am looking into a few of them. Yes we want to stay on Tortola this trip but Adagio is beautiful! We waited too long and several of these are booked already. Since the north side is not getting a ton of sun in early March, is it safe to assume the south facing villas are getting full sun?

I was trying to think which way it faces--I don't think it faces west? Not sure how much sun the pool deck gets in the afternoon? It is a very nice villa in a really convenient location to Cane Garden though.

Thank you for your help. We found a villa in Belmont that faces west. Don't know how much morning sun the pool will get but hopefully the afternoon will be warm and sunny!
