I don't know about a broadcast but Island 92 we're talking alot about it. Lombada and Tango catamarans have daily outings on the race course. We're going tomorrow.
erb--many of the yachts anchor in Simpson Bay lagoon and then proceed out through the bridge for the daily races. There is quite a parade of yachts through the bridge in the morning and afternoon. But as Whale Tail says, the BEST way to watch is to get out on one of the spectator boats. Lots of fun and interesting.
Whale Tail--looking forward to seeing those pictures! And glad to see that Mrs. Whale Tail is happier this morning!
Pics # 1 - During the 9 o'clock bridge opening we had a 10 minute downpour but it did not dampen the spirits of the crowd. I will need two posts for the pics.
Thanks for rising so early for your tomato juice 😂 and taking those wonderful pictures. We’ve never been for regatta…might have to rethink plans for next year.
You can see me on Startboat "A" I was ducking under the boom and blowing our air-horn !!! Just wait until the Sat/Sun incoming parade. Most dress up and put on a show when going by the SMYC.
