Just fyi, heard they had a good burger, it was, and cheap, 8 bucks but the real fries they brag on were brown, cold and dry, warm bottle of water 3 bucks and a service charge, guess that s the deal now....but there has to be a better burger and fry place in Simpson Bay...no offense, but not impressed.... but a great stop for a happy hour cocktail

Try the burger at The Palms, or if you're in Philipsburg, Krave.

Is this the place where they serve you the burger and fries in a paper bag? And you have to take your own order? If so, I wasn't interested at all, once I heard that.

Yes, Carol. I'm not a big burger person, so probably wouldn't go there anyway, but the concept isn't attractive to me either.

OK, thanks. One I can just strike off the list and not worry about.

Krave is worth the trip into Philipsburg. He makes his own buns and hand forms the meat. Excellent fries too.

I had the burger last April at Tap and Still on the way home. It was better than SSBB that we usually hang out at. Simple inexpensive although they didnt serve a Bloody Mary...

I've never had a bad meal at the Tap & Still and have been there often. Must have been a "bad" batch or night. Last time I was there was today.

Hate to hear any negativity regarding the TnS,,, we've been several times since they opened,,, always been great $$$ value and the fact you get a free Modelo beer with your burger in the afternoon.

Also, those homemade buns are foccacia, so the burger to bread ratio is greater, which is a plus for me. Greg's buns at the Palms are also homemade.

Try the 10 oz. burger at Lee’s, it’s delicious and definitely big enough for two. It comes with fries as well. The price is $17 but again, there’s enough to feed two people.
