Honestly, I don't understand how this happens, for the FIFTH time this year. This story has been in news so many times so far this year and yet it keeps happening. People are so lax with their ammunition, that they just put it wherever and don't keep track of it? And despite the news stories, they don't doublecheck their bags?

Totally agree... It just astounds me!
Come on folks - Know what you are carrying.

Although we did know someone that had packed edible underwear in a pocket of their suitcase for a Hawaii trip that never got used.

Fast forward a year... Her mom borrowed the suitcase for a European cruise.
Mom returned very happy about her and her daughter's oversight.

In all seriousness there are also different prescriptions that are legal
in the USA that are illegal in foriegn countries. A customs agent does not care that your doctor prescribed an illegal substance in his country. This oversight may greatly impact your vacation.

Know the laws and what you are carrying!

So, apparently this lady, and the other four that were held in Turks and Caicos, has finally been able to come home.

Hopefully this situation will cause people to pay more attention to what they bring on a plane. ..or not..
