Hi all. We are heading down to Miami the end of this month. My wife has a conference she is going to. I figured I would head over to Haulover while she's busy. We haven't been there in a number of years so I have a couple questions. Is there a food truck there during the week? How much is parking these days? Is it real crowed during the week? Thanks for any info.

Usually this time of the month it is not too crowded due to weather conditions. The food truck usually is there during the week and weekdays aren't usually crowded this time of year. Last time we were there, parking was about six dollars using a metered system. Have a good time and hope you get some nice sunny days in.

Not sure where you are staying but we have learned it is a long drive in traffic to South Beach or to hotels near the airport. I think it took us two hours in rush hour from Haulober to Duval/airport area.

We were at Haulover last week. Parking lots on the north end were closed, under construction. It appeared that we were going to have a LONG walk from lot 1. Instead, we drove north past the lots under construction to where the tall buildings start, made a u-turn, and took the first right. (still north of the marina lot, which was also closed due to construction) There were no signs, but it took us to a big parking lot at tunnel 5. It cost about $9 to park on a Thurs. Tunnel 5 takes you to the middle of the C/O beach. We didn't see any food trucks, but there was a number you could call for chairs, and food deliveries. 2 chairs and an umbrella were $70. No thanks. Sargassum was pretty bad. We much preferred Apollo Beach on the Canaveral National Sea Shore.

Wow, that is very pricy for the chairs.

We are heading to Haulover in two weeks. What is the cost of just two chairs without an umbrella? Thanks.
