Its a gem like no other I been to them all and have a home in DR But SXM is a top travel spot for me too. It has more than the average islands, a bit of them all plus top culinary places.

10-20 years??? Wow!!! All the beaches are still beautiful!!! Orient has changed a lot since Irma destroyed it. It's back with so many great restaurants and great places to grab a drink or two!! Maho is back, Irma did a REAL job on Dutch side!! There are some really good to great restaurants and wonderful shops!! Traffic at times will pull your hair out!! As always, St Martin remains amazing. There have been many changes in the last 10 years or so, and many of us old timers have trouble adjusting to change LOL. As with all change, some of it has been good and some of it not so good. But the beaches and food are still incredible, and the natives wonderfully welcoming. How have you managed to stay away for so long?
