Joining the party of arrivals this week. Came in on JetBlue 1877 from Boston Saturday. Flight was delayed a bit but got in less than an hour late. Immigration was quick - we’re traveling with kids so straight to the booth for us. Seeing the number of stamps in my kids’ passports the officer suggested we just move here. Good to get some humor from an often very serious exchange. Baggage claim was a bit slow, but once we got our bags we were off to the parking lot to get our gently loved Yaris from Starlite.
Arrived at Divi to find our room ready for check-in by 2:30. Quick lunch onsite at Gizmos (service was good) and then in to the pool to wash off the day’s travel. Waited until Sunday to hit Carrefour for supplies.
Divi feels busier for this time of year despite having the hotel block closed for renovations and part of the little bay facing timeshare buildings closed as well. Seems like more of the AI crowd unfortunately.
Now to start the breakfast, beach, lunch, pool, rest, dinner cycle for 2 weeks.
