Three nights in a row have drove thru Grand Case anfter dark and the ‘police’ presence is like nothing we have ever seen after previous rashes of purse snatching in years past. Now you will see on foot police with”ASVP” which looked up stands for ‘agents de surveillance de la voie publique (ASVP)’. You will see them before the soccer fields in at least pairs all the way down to the Church which has always had two outside.
The first night there were at least 10, tonight, saw at least 5.
This is very reassuring. I don’t know if they are armed or their relation to the police.
