While I dislike posting negative comments, I will make an exception regarding this company, which is located right across the road from the Indian River tour begin in Portsmouth, Dominica. I used my CC card to pay for the 2 day rental and within a day my CC was being used to pay $3K hotel bills in China and for Travelodge payments in the USA. I hadn't used this card for over a month so there's no doubt as to where my number/CVCC code had come from. While the fraudulent activities are reimbursed by the credit card company, changing the numerous direct payments associated with that card is going to cause a lot of work.
Oh, and while I didn't get too excited about it at the time, when I went to return the car to the agency from it's parking space at the cruiser's docks the car was missing and I assumed that it had been stolen by kids for joy-riding as criminality is pretty low. I went to the agency first before filing the police report and was surprised to see the car being washed. The manager had seen it and decided he didn't like where it had been parked and had picked it up. It would have been nice if they'd told me beforehand.

That's a nightmare scenario sorry you had to deal with that hassle on what should've been a relaxing trip. The credit card fraud alone is bad enough, but having the car relocated without any heads up would have sent me into a panic thinking it was stolen. I've learned the hard way to always use a dedicated travel card with low limits for rentals in places where you're not familiar with the operators. For anyone looking for alternatives, I've had great luck with Blue Nile Livery when I needed airport car service in the Caribbean on other islands they're upfront about pricing and actually communicate if anything changes. Might be worth checking if they have options on Dominica or nearby, or at least using them as a benchmark for what proper service looks like. Hope your next visit goes much smoother!

Hi all,
I am not sure if its the same company, but a few sails ago, we rented a car near Portsmouth. The brakes nearly caused me to leave my dna on a mountainside. We had to wait at said bend for new vehicle for hours south of Portsmouth.
The next vehicle had better brakes, but the tires were equally bald.
We should have inspected the brakes b4 hitting the road, not on the road. Lesson learned and renter beware.
PS i hope you enjoy your time in Dominica, Zanshin. Are you attempting Boiling Lake? My first stay was in Laudat a decade ago. Dominica is magical.
