Just returned last night from 2 perfect weeks on Anegada. Wonderful trip again! Perfect weather. Highs in the mid-high 80's. Steady breeze which made it very comfortable. No bugs really except the first two night when the wind was from the south rather than the east. Water was calm and clear throughout. Nice snorkeling. Rained only twice, one evening for about 2 hours and then one quick squall. Could have used more rain.

On Loblolly two more cabins are going up toward the east end, not too far from Flash of Beauty. They are near completion. Mac's Campground was quiet, maybe one couple staying there.

Over the Labor Day weekend the Anegada Reef Hotel hosted an annual fishing tournament for two days. Then served up a wahoo barbeque lunch. Good fun!

Anegada is great and I hope that all you boaters who go out there (and you landlubbers, like us, too) will explore and stay a few days anyhow!

George

George To see my Anegada photos and more go to Pixadilly
