Went to Marigot today and they were having market day on a Thursday. At first I thought it had something to do with Bastille Day but that was Tuesday. Anyone know why today was a market day?

It is Market Day every day, but Wednesday and Saturday are the best days as there are more stalls and more local artists participating. Those are the days to buy fresh fish and vegetables as well.

ahhh.. so we hit it right last Wednesday. We took the water taxi from Simpson Bay..to the market. WHAT A HIT! $12, reggae/soca music, free drinks (I drank the Coor's lite!yoi) and Odie and Junior. I found some local things that I HAD TO HAVE.. pillow covers, painted tiles... beautiful things... Jelly and Sauce...I could have Christmas Shopped for spices... A great time.
