Looks like we were at ground zero today for a future hurricane today. 50kts indicated on my wind gauge. Cripie those rain pellets hurt. I think we will send this one to PR.

Met up with the lovely Misty and her hubby Chris ( Riverfrontbrewer?) at " Islands" at " The Sugar Mill". We had a great few days sailing together and they were en route from JVD to Anegada. Mary and Dennis, the "SM" owners had just joined us when the Heaven's opened and the wind howled. Tables blew over and we wrapped ourselves in table clothes..and laughter..to finish our meal...really, wild weather. Got them back to CRC for a glass of vino to dry up and warm up..hoping they are, safely, about to board their plane for a safe flight to Anegada!

After another very heavy squall about 4 this morning it looks like the worst has passed..but the storm is getting more organised as it heads to the Turks and Caicos and Bahamas according to the National Hurricane Centre..we should keep on eye on this folks..50% chance of it upgrading..

Moist and frisky. We tucked in at Leverick Bay and dried the boat out with some dockside AC.
Cheers, RickG

Mal, thanks to you and Candace for your hospitality, it was great to see CRC as we passed from the west end to EIS. It was very overcast but our flight took off on time and was quite smooth. For $300 RT misty and I had a private flight all to ourselves, highly recommend VI Air link. The wind and rain was intense last night between 2-4 am. This morning we walked in the rain from our cottage almost to the anchorage. After that we had a quick breakfast and drove to Cow Wreck, ABC, Big Bamboo, tried big daddies, but no sign of life and a for rent sign up. Now at Anegada Reef Hotel catching up on TTOL action!
