Everything went smoothly. Both flights (booked through CheapAir.com) on time. TSA gave us exemptions from removing shoes and jackets. No intimate pat-downs, overheads overfull so we had to check carry-ons, after 1st removing meds, etc. Arrived on the island, Lesley arrived with car and phone. Traffic heavy but arrived at Club Fantastico in time to meet other guests and catch an hour's sun by the pool. Chloe & Thierry had arranged a little welcome party for guests and several of their island friends. We hadn't eaten since a very early morning breakfast at EWR, so the food (wings, meatballs, poppers, cheeses, etc.) was most welcome. We turned in early, shortly after we drifted off to the sound of heavy rain on the roof. Rain continued off and on all night. Up early - life is great!
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

We flew to SXM one time on Friday the 13th and everything worked great for us too! Sounds like a nice start to your trip! Enjoy!!
