This is a special Cuban style daiquiri Hemingway made famous with a bit of a change to suit me. I will add that it is inspired by the Tear Drop in Portland. I almost kept this to myself but after a few why not.

2 oz of light rum
3/4 oz of fresh squeezed lime juice
1/4 oz of maraschino cherry syrup
1/4 oz of simple syrup
1/4 oz of grapefruit juice

Take a martini shaker or something similar with crushed ice and add these ingredients and shake until you feel the ice break down and then strain into a glass like a martini glass, to each their own here.

This is not your typical frozen daiquiri recipe, traditional and refreshing with out a chemical taste like a typical mix will give you.

This took a while to get right, hope you like it.

Cheers,
Todd
