We have not been to Orient Beach in quite a few years. We would like to take our friends who have never been to St Maarten. Looking for suggestions for a nice beach bar with good burgers (friends have a lot of dietary restrictions) and comfy chairs. We will be there in February and are not counting on any of the new places being open.

I would recommend Palm Beach towards the north end of Orient Beach. Wonderful food and service and very comfortable padded chairs which are free when you eat or drink there. It is a lovely place to spend a relaxing day on the beach!

Expensive but nice. I find the water conditions are usually rougher there and more sea weed on that end.
