Will be picking up our charter in Road Town on the 2nd and heading over to CGB to await the rest of our crew. Will be on JVD on the 3rd and heading to Norman on the 4th
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - beer in hand - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO, What a Ride!"

I've raced most of the past 10 years and I expect to again this year.

Racing Fri, Sat & Sun. I have sailed BVI at least 15 times but never did this race. I am not sure I want to come back to Nanny Cay every night unless someone with experience can tell me the parties are so incredible they are not to be missed> Was actually thinking maybe just the Sunday party but heading off to either Cooper, Peter or Norman after the other races. It is so close I can be back at start line in no time. Just think my crew may enjoy WillyT more than welcome party? Probably also easier than fighting 50 boats in the morning out of Nanny Cay. Did SXM Hieneken Regatta last year and it is a clusterf*$k of boats waiting for the Simpson Bay bridge to open. Any advice on the event is welcomed and appreciated!!

The party each evening is so incredible it's not to be missed. There, you've been told. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />
There are typically six food vendors with tents set up on the beach if you don't wish to dine at the marina facilities or walk to Mulligans. The drink tent is pretty efficient and very reasonably priced if you need to rehydrate.
Yes, the traffic in and out of Simpson Bay is a mess for the SXM regatta. Been there done that, held up fenders and learned that people who race sailboats may not be able to handle them in close quarters. The least capable seem to be the most vocal towards others however...

The ELMTONES will be playing on Saturday night. We may well have some guest artists joining us.
