TravelTalkOnline Forums Thread Like Summary - April Ferry Questions

Hi everyone. Couple questions. We are flying into St. Thomas from Miami on April 18th with an arrival time of 10:40am. We are a group of 13 and will be taking a ferry over to Road Town to overnight at the dock on our charters the first night.

1. Will the 1:50pm RTFF give us enough time to get to the ferry terminal from the airport?
2. Should we book our tickets in advance?

...I agree and have friends who spend $$ for the water taxi but I am quite happy with the ferry..memories of riding the Bomba Charger for the first time in 1984 ( and it was old then!) and getting the complimentary fruit juice topped up with rum..I save the $$ for food and drinks on island. I have always found a ferry running within an hour or two..and visit Michael upstairs at The Petite Pump Room and watch the seaplanes..tells me I am back in the islands..
