Huge Kudos For Kevin !!!

Murphy's Law was applied on 7/13 ... Plane schedules for the couple meeting us on STT went awry and it looked like they weren't going to be able to make our scheduled water taxi to Tortola.

With one call to Kevin Campbell and the clock ticking away -- Kevin got the couple to Redhook just in time. It was a tense time but he pulled it off !!

Great job Kevin !!! Thanks for bailing us out !!!

I know the regular taxi service works but this is an example of why we use a private driver. (A different one). We are happy with paying a bit extra for great service and to support a local business owner. I also frequent a another board where the prevailing wind is solidly anti-private driver and it always baffles me.

Hey does anyone know the cost for 7 people to the ferry terminal from STT when you book with Kevin?

Cant say enough good things about Kevin..we use him for newbies coming in..super service with a smile. I believe he has to pay an extra $$ at the airport now but not sure how much..

The Port Authority is charging him $25 just to come into the airport, so he does have to charge more for just 2 people than a regular [censored] taxi.

I find it is sad that Kevin, who does such a great job, is economically banned from the airport. Why can't tourists choose who they want to help them out at the airport, without intervention from government authorities. No one should be banned from a taxpayer public facility like an airport. This type of thing also goes on in airports like JFK, New York

Me too .. texts are returned very quickly. Sometimes hard to get him on the phone but text is best !!!

I've had two great experiences using Kevin, once in May with a group and once in July...I literally walked through STT and onto his van...tight time to ferry, so he calls them, then when we arrive he walks up to the counter with me to make sure they get me on. Heck, I was off the airport grounds before the passengers at the rear of the plane were on the tarmac... He's awesome!

Used Kevin for the first time in June and he was as advertised. Excellent communication. Our crew was arriving in three groups and he handled them all perfectly. Also had a crew member who needed to go home early and Kevin helped with that short notice as well. We'll be using him exclusively for now on.

After this thread first posted on the site, I emailed Kevin for my upcoming trip. Week went by and no response so I texted him. He answered the text right away so I would say to text over email.

With Kevin, text is always the route to go. He also seems to answer texts faster than he does phone calls. In fact, I don't even think I have his email address.
