Yes, a wonderful report and pictures. It so reminds me of our trip! Africa is amazing. I hope you get to see it someday, Louise.

Thanks, Carol. Trying to get back to SXM after a full years absence is on the forefront now.

I never had a desire to travel to Africa but as they say, "never say never." It has become more appealing over the years but as exotic vacations go it's not at the top of my list. That would be Bora Bora and several more trips to Europe. Maybe if we hit the lotto!

OK, Tahiti and Bora Bora are stunningly beautiful. Hope you get the chance to go there. My only regret with our trip there is that our trip there was so long ago that we used a film camera and our pictures were harmed by all the many security xrays we had to go through, on the cruise ship and otherwise, and our pictures could not capture it's beauty. For Tahiti and Bora Bora, you used to be able to get a relatively good deal on cruises there. The cost of living is SO high there, I think cruises are still a good option.

We too loved Bora Bora. But, Africa, by far, has been the most memorable vacations of our lives.

Kirk--please do post about your trip upon your return!

Will do! We're about two weeks away from leaving...starting to trim down the packing pile so I can get on those small planes

Oh, we were focussing on the packing a lot more in advance than that! Enjoy your trip! I envy you!
