But do you remember where specifically? I just can't seem to place it on either property yet I do remember the name.

pat, my friend says Calabash Cafe was at MBBH near the casino. And Sweet Tooth Ice Cream was there too and there was a pool.
I vaguely remember this.

Barbara,

Assuming we're talking Mullet Bay Resort, I can picture the ocean side pool, the Gourmet Restaurant, the casino there (before it relocated out past the 19th hole....), the convention center, the Sweet Tooth and all the little shops just outside the casino but I just can't see the Calabash Café. Was it there for any great length of time? I don't remember the disco being in that area either, but then, as I've said so often, the mind is a terrible thing to lose and I'm just not sure the disco might have been on our horizons in the first place.

I do remember when the hurricane destroyed most of that area for the first time and all of the above relocated off the cliffs and out past the front desk and reception area and onto the road by the golf course that lead up to the hillside area. I think the only thing they rebuilt by the ocean/cliff side was the wrecked pool and the little bar.

We used to stay in one of the units about three buildings up the road from the final Grand Casino area and the little plaza area where the disco was. But again, this was all back in the early to mid to late 80's and some days have a hard time remembering if I had my morning coffee so these memories and recollections may be a little off base.

And yes, Kim, I think the Callaloo on Front St. may have been the place with the vegable soup. Or was that also Pinocchio's? Do you remember how good their croissants were first thing in the morning?
