It looks like the project will be located south of Savannes and adjacent to the airport, on the windward side of the island. Having a safe marina as part of the design might make it attractive for sailors wanting to visit this part of St. Lucia since Vieux Fort is not a recommended anchorage. Hopefully the project will make it financially and help St. Lucia with their tourism marketing.
