I started reading the recipe and saw it said 3 cups of onions and went 'say what?' Then I saw the 5 pounds of turkey. The recipe is supposed to feed 10 I guess, but still seems too much, even for that many! Speaking of which, I tried making two meatloves one time and freezing one before baking, and it came out extremely mushy. Thoughts?? Suggestions?? I don't make mine with turkey, but hamburger, and I do add a lot of the same things that Ina put in her recipe, and it does take quite a bit of time to put together. If I could make two and freeze one, it would be a great timesaver.
