We did this backwards- Rome to Milan and 15 nights. Not sure what the obvious sites are for you.We were in Rome, Bevagna, Ravenna, and Bellagio. I had been to Florence on my very first European trip, which is probably number one obvious site. Loved every stop and would go back in a heart beat! We picked up a rental car on the outskirts (kind of) of Rome and returned the car at the Milan airport. My goal was history, food, art, history, wine, food, wine and history... and art. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" /> Hanging out at Lake Como was for relaxation.
