I forgot to mention the vendor's on the beaches and Phillipsburg. I have no problem saying no but it seems like it is getting a little ridiculous. I also understand people are trying to make a living. I am a salesman and get told no on a daily basis for pedaling my stuff, but it's almost getting out-of-hand on St. Maarten/St. Martin. When we spent the day in St. Barth's, we did not have one vendor approach us for anything. It was actually a refreshing change from SXM.
Just an observation and opinion. I wonder if St John or Jost are like that as I really would like to try those islands sometime in the future. With that said, it will definitely not deter me from coming back!
Cheers
