It should be noted that The Rock Cafe and the Tree house, although in the same nitty are wholly different experiences. And even the Rock Cafe has different milieus...inside next to the bar are linen topped tables in AC which we opted for 3 out our 4 visits in November as it was humid. Seating in the outdoors among the boulders is lovely amidst the water falls and pools and we did not find it buggy at all. The Tree House is way up, 76 steps I counted, small and intimate with its own dedicated chef and smaller menu, in an aerie setting, high above the Rock Cafe, with a few tables inside and a few more on the surrounding porch. The food at both was quite good, and the wait staff very attentive. We especially enjoyed Frederick in the main dining room. Then there is Coco Maya, an Asian fusion, small plates, open air restaurant and on the beach under palm trees with a fire pit on the beach as well as loungers in the sand. Food was good, but of course, some dishes are spicy. Sharing plates is what is generally done. I would easily recommend both.
