Jet Blue (and Southwest??) is just about the only one where it makes any difference. Virtually all other airlines, once you buy the ticket and 24 hours has passed, don't look again!! If the price goes down, you WON'T get any money back or any credit, so it will just tick you off!! The only exception would be that if the airline makes a 'significant' change to your flights, then you are entitled to cancel your reservation and get ALL your money back. Now, the definition of a 'significant' change can vary, but if you do have a change and find lower fares for your flight, you can call the airlines and see what they say.
