calsail said: Note: IMHO a big waste of time and effort to bring any food. Must respectfully disagree with this statement as to meat only. After a couple of hit or miss attempts to provision meat locally, we bought a large Polar Bear cooler. We fill this full of solidly-frozen steaks, chicken and lunch meats. No ice is necessary to keep everything solid for at least 24 hours. Because at least one crew member always has free checked bag privileges, there is no transportation cost. Import duty is about $10. Knowing in advance what you will be grilling, and how it will taste, is priceless.
