Let me preface this review by stating that I think this site is top-notch. I referred to this site alot before the trip. Thanks to everyone for the great info!

Visited Grand Lido Braco July 25-29 for my cousin's wedding. Flew Air Jamaica from Atlanta. All was on time and without problems. Arrived Montego Bay and went to immigration...no problem mon...then to Superclubs desk and waited for about 10 minutes and got on bus to resort. Sidenote: there are water fountains by the restrooms in the main terminal.

The porters who carried our luggage to the bus would not let us on unless we tipped them. Very tacky. Ride was uneventful, albeit bumpy. We rode in a small little van/bus type thing. The driver was very nice and pointed things out to us as we rode. He also gave us the choice of going straight through without a break, thus, making the trip only about one hour.

Arrived Braco and the bags were unloaded from the bus. Make sure you get your bags before you walk away. My uncle had one go to Hedo III and it took a couple of days to get it back.

Nice resort...check-in was a breeze. They gave us towels and cold drinks. We had a garden view room in the 12 block...1224. It was a great room! Clean and large, nice bathroom, robe, slippers, very convenient to the center of the resort. Actually, it was right behind the main office. You couldnt see the ocean, but I didnt pay for that.

The resort is small but you never feel crowded. The food was amazing. I've been to Mexico, Barbados, Dominican Republic, amd Cozumel, and this was the best resort food ever! Buffet's for b'fast and lunch and ala carte for dinner.

The staff was wonderful. We had some rousing games of pool volleyball everyday. Thoroughly enjoyed that.

The wedding went off without a hitch. They really take good care of you. My cousin said the wedding coordinator at Braco was top notch. I'll tell you, all of the staff at Braco were top notch.

The beach, is another story. If you like the beach, then this might not be the resort for you. Very rocky. I guess if you wore sandals in the water in might not be so bad, but who wants that! I heard the beach was better on the clothing optional side, but I hever ventured over.

Leaving the resort was nice too. If you were booked on Air Jamaica, you could check your luggagge and get your boarding pass at the resort in the morning. So, when you hit the airport on your return, there is no waiting in line anywhere...you just go right to the gate. Now that is what I call service!! We left the resort at 2Pm for a 4:40 flight. Kudos to Air Jamaica and Superclubs!
