Just returned from 2 weeks in the VI's. The condo we stayed in Cowpet Bay East thru VIP rentals was awesome. The view was great, the condo was roomy clean and well furnished. The second part of the trip was 10 days aboard a charter out of CYOA. John and his crew as always, provided wonderful service. Winds were in the 15-20 range all week. The boat a 43 Belize catammarran was in great shape. The dock crew made sure everything went perfect. Captain Jay and Joe were always there to answer questions. I don't understand why anyone would go out of the BVI's instead of CYOA? We had great meals at Molly Malones, Betsy's,Pece, Green House, Ainsleys and St. Thomas Yacht Club. Roberts was over priced and mediocre in our opinion. The couple we were with had never been to St. Johns so we did a island tour which was great. It all depends which driver you get, we usually stay away from the ones at the pier and pick up one by Mongoose junction. Anchorages in St. Johns at Lamshur and Francis bay were great. I will post our info on the BVI's on that forum. After the charter we stayed at the Green Iguana and had drinks at Blackbeards. Both were very good.
