Regarding dining, I think you'll be very surprised. Sugar Mill is opening in October as planned, Brandywine has already served meals and will probably be back in full swing soon, I'm guessing Leverick will have something by Spring, Wonky Dog will be open, and I'm sure there are many more things.

Not to be an a$$, but your friends should lose their deposit if they aren't willing to give some time for things to recover. If they are really that anal about things being perfect, they should have paid for travel insurance to cover their perfect vacation.
