And here is a link to my blog which has detailed information for many of the better (IMO) snorkeling spots around the North Side and East End.
Google "TESTUDO'S SNORKEL GUIDE"
The only Tarpon I have seen on the north shore where at Anchor Point. Plenty of them at Eden Rock and Turtle Reef on the other side of the island. Barracuda are pretty much everywhere.
Snorkel air just tastes better than canned air...
