Well y'all - it was a grand success. I used a combination of several recipes and this is what I came up with.
1 pie crust baked 1/2 of the way (I did not use graham cracker crust, as my family loves pastry) 3 egg yolks 1 can eagle brand milk 1/2 cup Nelly and Joe's key lime juice put in oven on 350 for 17 minutes.
I picked fresh strawberries earlier that morning. I served the pie with sliced strawberries and whipped cream. The strawberries gave it a touch of sweetness and played off well with the tart of the lime. I think this one is going to be a keeper.
