Very nice trip report! We are also currently on island, having arrived this past Saturday, and we were also commenting on the dryness/browness. But it still feels great to be here. Everyone we’ve run into has expressed gratitude to us for returning and helping the economy. We’ve had several people come up and ask us about Ed’s ‘SXM Strong’ t-shirt that we purchased during an online SXM fundraiser earlier this year. Too bad they don’t still sell them online — it would remain a nice way to continue to raise money for the island.

You’ve been so active! The four of us have only been here since Saturday and we are already taking a ‘down day’ today. LOL! Sitting around the pool at La Vista Beach seemed a good option today. Loving it here, as always. The LV staff is beyond awesome! We did spend yesterday at Orient Beach down by the Club O end and it was wonderful, a good mixture of clothed and nude, and no one cared. Water as lovely as ever and lunch at the Perch Lite was good.
