Our timeshare maintenance fees were waived last year for the fixed week owners at Flamingo. I expect the same for this coming year too. I see nothing "fishy" as a money grabbing thing. Points owners had to pay their fees, which is understandable, as they belong to a large group on Diamond timeshare resorts and can use their points at any resort.
