I read today that Celebrity cruise line's new monster high-end cruise liner (an understatement!!) will be docking at Tortola starting Dec 2018.
1004 ft (306m), 10 decks, with 1300+ crew! (

Just where are 2900-3300 passengers going to deboard and "play" in Roadtown and surroundings??
Wow, surprised that the Roadtown pier can handle a 1000 footer but looking at what else docks there (Disney, Norwegian with their 3000+ passengers ) on the Ports Authority web site it must fit.
The Baths, Indians, CGB, beaches are going to be swamped even more than with the current "little" Romney cruisers.
Tortola stop will be part of some of the "7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise",

Currently scheduled to dock in Tortola;
Dec 19, 2018, and about every 2 weeks in 2019 (Jan 16, Jan 30, Feb 13, Feb 27, Mar 13, Mar 27, Apr 10, ...) (Whew! Missing our trip by a few days!!)
Will have to monitor the BVI Ports Authority for all the cruise ship schedules. Web site doesn't have 2019 schedules listed yet. (
