There are no fashion police on island but someimes it's needed. Lol. Another option is to invest in some spf coverups for beach and casual daytime attire.

As far as crop tops, wondering what age bracket are you in? as you say that your parents are taking you.
Tanks are cooler, sundresses, shorts, tank dresses, basically any summer wear is seen. If you go out to dinner in a nicer establishment, I personally would not suggest a crop top.
