People keep giving my wife and me funny looks when we tell them we're coming to the BVIs for what amounts to a long weekend (arrive Thursday, leave Monday, especially when it involves traveling from LAX to STT and then ferrying over to Tortola. However, there are several reasons why we've found this mini-trip to be very satisfying
Quito Solo Quito and the Edge Rueben Chinnery (got his unplugged CD on this trip) Brian Neale The Elmtones
Perfect weather all four days/nights Sunset at Bananakeet Breakfast/Brunch at Sebastians Sunday night at the Elm with Mal and Candace Hanging out with Sandman Chatting with Julian (Baby Bull) at Quito's Seeing Prince do air bass guitar at the Elm My wife getting lobster in April (I'm allergic and its not available when we usually visit in August) Knowing we'll be back for a week on Jost Van Dyke in August Starting to plan my 50th birthday next Spring
So, as an answer to everyone who gives us those funny looks...."How'd you spend YOUR weekend?" <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Cheers.gif" alt="" />
