Bomba Charger and Bomba Challenger went in service in 1971 and is the same boat as in service now. Bomba Challenger became the Paradise Challenger on the JVD route. BTW, The Bomba ferries were NOT named for Bomba of the surf shack but Wilfred "Bomba" Allick, a St Croix based captain.
