I am curious about one thing. A friend was looking at putting a French boat into charter in the USVI. He was told by several different people the boat would need to go into the BVI as the Jones act would prohibit charter use of a French boat. I don’t think this is correct as I know CYOA is putting new French boats in their fleet. Anyone have the straight scoop on how the Jones act relates to charter boats? G They were misinformed. There are dozens of French Boats, US-flagged running charters out of the USVI/
