Louise gave you the run down on our Jet Blue flight from JFK and arrival. I would say a little over an hour from touch down to greeting Michael from Unity for our rental. Had our first TTOL celebrity sighting--although we didn't realize it until we were on our way to pick up our car. Louise and David chatted with Michael as we were walking outside the airport. I've been following TTOL for years and this was the first time, I've come close to meeting someone from TTOL. I'm so sorry we didn't stop and investigate further before jumping in the car. Maybe our paths will cross again--wish you both a wonderful vacation!

We made a quick stop at Atlantico for sandwiches and enjoyed them on our way to Cost Pro to pick up some groceries. We thought we shouldn't rush to Divi--meander a bit and wait for our room to be ready. Our check in was a breeze when we arrived. A quick stop in Philipsburg for Mass at 6 and then off to our first night tradition--Taco Macho. Love the food there --good, simple, not too heavy and inexpensive with a mojito to start things off. Off to casino royale where I was up and then down just a bit. Since we were up at 4 am, didn't stay long. I would say for a Saturday night, pretty decent crowd in Maho. Three Amigos had a good crowd and there was some cheering coming from the craps table.

Current situation is on the beach at Divi. Strange day--must be high tide, water is actually making its way up to the sea wall and steps. One row of chairs and we are all pretty much at the wall. A lot of the beach is gone. The small timeshare beach is littered with rocks land no chairs presently set up. Much different than when we were here in July.

When we come in July we are a big group--probably 10 of us. Early mornings at the beach are usually just myself and a good friend. We tease everyone that this is the time when we discuss our hopes and dreams. It's kind of quiet and peaceful. This trip it is just myself and my husband. I asked him this morning what his hopes and dreams were. Without hesitating he said "I'm living it". Good answer and good start to our vacation.

Hope to keep this up but we are pretty boring people.
