I wanted to sort of "re-up" this question. We're going to have a mostly landbased trip on Tortola in March. We're wondering about the possibility of exploring St John either on a day trip or possibly for 2 days.
Is there an "easy" way to do this or is the answer to get a ferry from Sopers to Red Hook then Red Hook to Cruz Bay? Then same going back?
Dave There is no easy way compared to pre-Irma. You have to clear customs in Red Hook or CA. RH is closer by far. Ferry to RH, clear and then ferry over to STJ. The STJ ferry runs on the hour. It’s sucks but it was a lot worse two years ago.
