Sorry I lost count yesterday , lol!! So today is day 7!
Got up early and went for breakfast to the Jules in Jordan village. The place is owned by the former waiter from Moulin Fou and his partner, they also own the restaurant in the area called Bodega. Fresh pastries, etc, juices, coffee sandwiches- full assortment pretty much. The food was very decent. Cheap too, $30 for 3 of us.
Headed to the Lottery farm cause girls wanted to try the zip lines. Once we got there, we were greeted by a whole bunch of monkeys! They were everywhere! That was pretty cool.
Looked at the zip lines and the girls decided to bail out. So we drove to Grand Case and plugged our butts at the Rainbow Cafe beach.... Calm water, great service, great drinks and an amazing late lunch! The solar eclipse or whatever it was freaked everybody out at first, one of the local ladies basically screamed” Oh my God, what is it?! Jesus save us please”
But then everybody started to take pictures....
We stayed there till5 pm, changed and went to see the local vendors set up for the Harmony nights. After walking back a forth a few times, we took a table at Ocean 82. Wife heard the rumours that they have a new chef... Oh my what a treat it was! We split onion soup, duck breast in a fig souse, ravioli lobster with mushrooms, and gnocchi with something else.
Dessert was my favourite - SOUFFLÉ that was absolutely incredibly delicious! Their menu looks really good, so we will try to come back one more time.
