I am sure this has happened before, certainly on Saba. My husband worked in Anguilla at one stage of his career and told of weekend jaunts across to Saba to hunt for wild goats using a bow and arrow. (Any goats killed went into the curry pot.)
When we visited Saba some years later he commented on the number of goats still roaming the island. The taxi driver told us they were a bit of a menace on the narrow, winding roads.
