"Fiona Russel - Good afternoon! 🏝 Recently, with the BVIs closed, we've had a stream of new visitors to Lovango Cay. Please help us protect what you've come here to experience:
🐠 Toward the eastern end of the island, there are five mooring balls, all maintained earlier this year. These are available to use at no charge when you visit.
🐠 A coral reef lies in the center of this mooring field. If all mooring balls are taken, please anchor in deeper water, outside of the mooring field, so your anchor rode does not destroy coral as the boat swings.
🐠 The mooring balls to the west (in front of the white cottage and farther west) are all private. Please do not use them.
🐠 If you want to throw a party, please consider anchoring in front of one of the uninhabited cays nearby (Mingo, Grass, etc.), where you will enjoy more privacy without disturbing other boaters or residents.
Thank you! Happy boating β›΅οΈπŸš€"

We've anchored in sand for lunch, but have not spent the night.

Cheers, RickG
